Humanity has already learnt how to create perfect, real diamonds by the laboratory method, the same ones that nature has been creating for thousands of years, and the cost of these human-made diamonds is hundreds of times less.

It is the same with gold, nowadays it can be synthesised in the laboratory, but the cost of synthesis at the moment is many times higher than the cost of mining. And it is understandable, because bankers have been saving gold for more than 500 years, is it possible to start synthesising it now so easily in laboratories. It will be a discovery not only for science, but for the whole economy)

So we cannot say that we now have a completely safe asset that is ensured for tens, hundreds or even thousands of years to come. And even less can we be sure that its purchasing power will grow year after year. We need something brand new... a new asset.
